my expertise

I reside in Warwick and cover the Midlands, the M40 corridor and North London where I prefer face to face meetings as this helps me to get to know my clients.

I became a financial adviser after leaving university at age 21 in 1998, and I have seen many positive changes to the financial services industry over that time. I have worked in business development, company and private client advisory and private banking. However, the vast majority of that time, I have worked as an Independent Financial Adviser. This means that I can select solutions from across the market place, tailoring my service to the diverse needs of my clients. I specialise in private client work, but I am equally comfortable advising businesses.

I strive to help my clients navigate an ever more complex financial landscape and hope to improve their overall position with regards to their retirement, investment, protection and succession planning needs. This can often mean growing someone’s wealth or protecting it so that it can pass onto the next generation intact as much as possible. All clients are different, but I aim to provide a first-class service to all of them.

I am also keen to work with professionals and help their clients achieve their goals.

Areas are I advise on are:

  • Retirement Planning including final salary pensions
  • Wealth Management
  • Inheritance tax planning and succession planning
  • Equity Release
  • Protecting families and businesses from financial difficulties
  • Planning at the time of divorce

I am a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. This qualification is the highest that financial advisers can currently attain.

I have lived in different parts of England, so I have developed a good understanding of the different attitudes, and sensibilities people have. I have also lived and worked in Hong Kong for several years. Throughout that time, I worked and travelled throughout Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Europe.
